Invented by Dr.Ian Swain and Mr.Peter Lowthian, both of whom have broad experience in scientfic research related to pressure relief, the VALLEY cushion has provided the one viable alternative to the troublesome "ring" cushion.<br><br>
UT is today a supplier of pain relief cushions to many departments in the public health service, including Postnatal; Colorectal/Stoma Care;General Surgery; Gynaecology;Oncology; Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund and other Hospice/ Palliative Care organisations. Individual patients are also welcome clients of the Company.<br><br>
Valley Medical Cushions are designed to relieve pressure from the "mid-line" areas around the perineum.<br><br>
It is particularly useful when sitting would normally cause pain due to the effects of surgery, including episiotomies; unhealed wounds; haemorrhoids; bruising; coccydinia, etc.<br><br>
Valley Pain Relief Cushion allows sustained sitting (hours at a time) but is NOT designed for those who have little or no feeling in their buttocks.<br><br>
Scientifically designed and clinically proven medical cushion offers cost effective non-invasive pain management which will alleviate most perineal/ perianal problems.<br><br>

Valley SV Pain Relief Cushion is a slimmer version of our popular medical cushions and is developed for those who are experiencing discomfort rather than severe "mid-line" pain.<br><br>
It uses the same design principles as the normal cushion and its non-slip underside makes it an ideal comfort aid whilst for example driving or riding in a vehicle.<br><br>
Principally this version Valley SV is for portability at home, office, cinema etc.<br><br>
Like its forerunner this Pain Relief Cushion has been subjected to rigorous testing.<br><br>
The valley medical cushion is available for sale or hire. It may be hired for postnatal, and other uses, from most branches of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT). It can be hired for as long as it is needed; and each cushion is supplied with a hygienic disposable cover.<br><br>
